Jack Arthur Hutchison, Sr.Jack Arthur Hutchison, Sr., 67, of Carriere, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bradley S. Aumann officiating. Burial will follow at Holliman Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Picayune Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Jack, a native of New Orleans, lived in Carriere for forty years. He had retired from the Louisiana Army National Guard and was a Lutheran.

He was preceded in death by his brother James Hutchison.

He is survived by: his wife, Solveig Hutchison of Carriere; two sons, Jack Hutchison, Jr. of Slidell, La. and Darin Hutchison of Carriere; one daughter, Cheryl Smith of Covington, La.; three brothers, William Hutchison of Picayune; David Hutchison of Chalmette, La. and Phillip Hutchison of Algiers, La.; two sisters, Betty Able of Slidell and Mary Dichiara of Slidell; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
