The state Court of Appeals will hear arguments in two cases Thursday on the campus at the University of Southern Mississippi campus in Hattiesburg.
The hearings will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Room 218 at the Thad Cochran Center on the Hattiesburg campus.
The Appeals Court periodically schedules oral arguments on college campuses.
Appeals Judge William Myers says the program provides an opportunity for students and the general public to observe a court hearing and learn about the operations of the court.
Myers says the program allows judges to use real cases to teach students about the appellate process.
