Authorities have charged a fifth person in the alleged gang rape of a female student at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

Copiah County Sheriff Harold Jones says Jason West turned himself in Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Jones says West has been charged with rape. West was being held Thursday on a $25,000 bond in the county jail.

Authorities have also arrested Damonte Glover, Antonio Davis, Tim Graves, all charged with rape, and Justin Sandifer, who is charged with sodomy. They are free on $25,000 bond each.

Jones says the five are accused of participating in the Oct. 6 incident at Ellzey Hall, a male dormitory on campus in Wesson.

Co-Lin officials say Davis is the only suspect who did not attend the school.
