A 16-year-old male is being held on allegations of firing a gun into the air at the Mississippi State Fair.

Hinds County sheriff’s deputies responded late Friday to a call of shots fired and arrested the juvenile. Sheriff’s Lt. Pete Luke told The Clarion-Ledger than no one was hurt.

The suspect’s name is being withheld because of his age.
