Poplarville artist, John J. Pershing, exhibits his work September and October, 2009, at the Margaret Reed Crosby Memorial Library. “A Journey from the Primitive to the Contemporary” best describes Pershing’s style and subjects which range from still lifes to paintings and prints of animals, native Americans, and landscapes. Also on exhibit are some of the artist’s metalwork pieces.
