Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church for Nelda Fay Carroll, 78, of Picayune who passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009 in Picayune.

Burial will be in the White Chapel Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Arthur Lee and the Rev. Lavell Lee will officiate at the service.

A native of Pearl River County, she was a Homemaker and a member of Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Morris E. Bounds and Ineta G. Bounds; her husband, Emory E. Carroll; and her brother, Garland Bounds.

Survivors include: one daughter, Eva Anne Vara of Picayune; two grandchildren, Michelle McBride and Corey E. Jarrell; seven great-grandchildren: Albert, Brandon, Pacey, Sam, Megan, Morgan, and Shelby; and one sister, Julia M. Whitfield.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
