WLOX signs on its new digital facility at 9 a.m. Monday.

Viewers who receive the station by cable will not need to rescan television sets hooked to the cable since the cable companies are doing that. However, those who receive the station by antenna will need to rescan their sets or set their converter boxes, said Leon Long, the station’s vice president and general manager.

The rescan or reset should be done as soon as possible after the upgrade is complete on Monday in order to be able to receive programming from WLOX.
