Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Margie Elizabeth Strain, 81, of Carriere, who passed away June 6, 2009 in Pearl River County Nursing Home. Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Georgetown, S.C., she was a and a member of Ozona Baptist Church and a homemaker

She was preceded in death by: her parents Allen and Mable Jacob Jordan; her husband, Lonnie Vinson Strain; and nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: daughters, Chris (Burlon) Reid of Poplarville, Elaine (John) Drennan of Carriere; son, Lonnie Allen Strain of Carriere; sister, Shirley Greenleaf of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Wayne Jordan of Georgetown; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Mississippi and Louisiana.
