State transportation and emergency management officials will distribute hurricane evacuation guides and other important information to the public in July and August to educate the public about hurricane preparedness.

The first distribution by the Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency will distribute hurricane evacuation guides, tracking charts and other pertinent information at the Edgewater Mall on U.S. Highway 90 in Biloxi.

The first distribution booth near the Dillard’s Department Store in the mall will be set up July 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Booths also will be set up on Aug. 1, 8 and 22.
