A former janitor is expected to plead guilty Thursday in federal court in Oxford in the theft of 90 pounds of marijuana from the Greenwood Police Department.

John Brewer would be the fifth person to plead guilty in a federal investigation into the disappearance of the drugs and guns, which were taken from the department in 2005 and 2006.

Authorities say inmates from the Leflore County Community Work Center took the guns and drugs from a closet in the police station and smuggled them out with help from others.
