Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 12 a.m. in McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Grace Zoe Whiteside, 87, of Carriere, who passed away Thursday June 4, 2009.

Burial will be in the Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

R.T. Buckley will officiate at the service.

A native of New Orleans, La., She Was a Clerk for the Water and Sewage Department of New Orleans.

She was preceded in death by: her parents Edgar Oscar and Jennie Campbell Bech, two daughters, Judith Ann Simpler, and Lura Louise Whiteside; and a Grandchild, Brenda Anderson.

Survivors include: her son, David Whiteside of New Brunswick, Maine; grandchildren, Debbie Rancatore of Carriere, Christopher Simpler of Carriere, Ellen Simpler of Kenner, La., and Daniel Whiteside of New Brunswick, and five Great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 9 a.m. until at McDonald Funeral Horne.
