Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Ozona Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Rev. Thomas F. Pullens, Jr., 80, of Carriere, who passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 in Carriere.

Burial will be in the Burgetown Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Thomas E. Pullens will officiate at the service and will be assisted by the Rev. Leo Burge and the Rev. Jeremy Buras.

A native of Pearl River County, he was a Minister and a member of Ozona Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; Thomas Floyd Pullens Sr. and Sara Jane Henley Pullens; and two daughters: Peggy Pullens and Barbara Strickland.

Survivors include: his wife: Lillian R. Pullens of Carriere: his children: Patsy Culpepper of Picayune, Thomas E. Pullens of Picayune, Hershell Pullens of Picayune, Johnnie E. Pullens of Picayune, Thomas Floyd Pullens Ill, of Carriere, Deborah Fay Burge of McNeill, Timothy Wayne Pullens of Carriere, and Judy Lynn Jarrell of Carriere; one brother, Dan Pullens of Picayune; one sister: Lula Mae Tanner of Pascagoula, Miss.; 26 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
