GRAND PRAIRIE — Patrick Earl Shay, 77, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009.

Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Monday at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in the DFW National Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home in Texas.

Patrick was born Sept. 1, 1931 in New Orleans, La. He was an active member of Great Southwest Rotary Club, Petroleum Club, and Mended Hearts.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, J.M. and Iola Shay; sons, Michael and William Shay.

Survivors include: daughter, Patti Wells, and husband Mike; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lottie Maynard and husband, Presley.
