Martha Elizabeth Brewer Little, 95, of Pinola, Miss., passed away on Friday, May 8, 2009 at her residence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in New Hebron, Miss., from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at the church.

Mrs. Little was born on February 9, 1911 in McComb, Miss. She was the daughter of Roland and Ophelia Richie Brewer. She lived in Chicago, Ill., for more than 30 years before moving back to the Pleasant Hill Community in 1967. She was a homemaker. She was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, R. T. Little; a son, two sisters; and six brothers.

She is survived by: her daughter, Jean Lofton of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren: Pamela Ashley, Kenneth Little, Mark Wolford, Melodie Craven and Susan Stefanini; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
