God’s open arms embraced Jo Ann Penton, 66, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister on May 1, 2009.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Forest Penton Sr.; and great-grandson Forest “Alex” Moak.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Penton Brown, Rebecca Paavola, Mary Ann Moak; sons, Michael Llyod Penton and Forest Penton Jr.; sister, Barbara Gaddis; brothers, Mike Veal and wife Jeannette, and Roy A. Veal and wife Brenda; sons-in-law, Raymond Estrada, Daniel Moak, John Guidry and Furman Capps; grandchildren, Rita Marie, Margaret Ann, Robert, Edward Allen and wife Jennifer, Christopher, Christina and Husband David, Timothy and soon-to-be wife Brandi, and Richard; eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and several family members in the Mississippi and Tennessee area.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Penton Cemetery, George Ford Rd. in Carriere, Miss. The Rev. Danny Roy Johnson will be honoring Jo Ann Penton and our family by presiding over the service.
