4 arrested in Lumberton slaying
Four people have been charged in connection with a weekend slaying in Lumberton.
Lumberton Police Chief Adrian Fortenberry says 41-year-old Bryan King was shot to death Saturday in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Fortenberry says 19-year-old Richard Sandifer of Lumberton has been charged with murder. He says three others — 20-year-old Marcus Creel, 19-year-old Justin Robertson and 39-year-old Leslie Waites, all of Lumberton — have been charged with accessory to murder.
The four were being held in the Lamar County jail pending their initial court appearances.
