Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Cedar Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church for Willie Mae Mitchell, 81, of Nicho!son, MS, who passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 in Lacombe, La.

Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Elder Virgil Skipper will officiate at the service, and will be assisted by the Rev. Arthur Shaw.

A native of Picayune, she was a School Bus Driver and a member of Cedar Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wiley Preston Mitchell; her parents, Joseph and Eugenia Bennett; and two brothers: Heman Bennett and Wesley Bennett.

Survivors include: four sons, Mickey Mitchell of Poplarville, Joey Mitchell of Carriere, Richard MitchelI of Nicholson, and Donald Mitchell of Nicholson; one daughter, Mary Kennedy of Pearl River, La.; one sister, Bonnie Jean Shoemake of SlidelI, La.; and five grandchildren: Candace Mitchell, Kasey Mitchell, Hana Mitchell, Aaron Mitchell, and Tara Mitchell.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 9-11 a.m. in the Cedar Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
