Two more arrests have been made in the investigation of an alleged theft ring accused of stealing more than $300,000 in merchandise across Mississippi.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department says Kelvin Johnson and Ron Quinn of Natchez were arrested Wednesday and charged with multiple counts of grand larceny. Both are in jail without bond until their arraignment.

Adams County Investigator Ricky Stevens says the two men along with three others have allegedly been stealing lawn equipment, generators and utility vehicles.

Authorities say the ring was exposed when 34-year-old Darin McCoy of Natchez was arrested last month while allegedly trying to steal a high-end riding lawn mower. That arrest then led to the arrests of Jamie Loving and Dale Perry, both of Bookhaven.
