Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church for Narvel Winston Pearson, Jr., 74, of Caesar Community, who passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in Carriere.

Burial will be in Union Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Allen Hickman and the Rev. William Gary Smith will officiate at the service.

A native of Hancock County, he was a Trucker and a member of Union Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Narvel Winston Pearson, Sr., and Rena Watkins Pearson; and one brother, Carl Wayne Pearson.

Survivors include: his wife, Camellia Sue Pearson of Carriere; two sons, Winston Keith Pearson, and William Kerry Seal; one sister, Barbara Pearson Grantham, and husband Charles Grantham; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2009 from 6-9 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home.
