A suspect, who was indicted on numerous counts of arson and placed in custody when his bond was revoked, has now been released after a recent circuit court decision to reinstate his bond.

The decision to reinstate bond for 29yearold Christopher Malone was made in a March 24 hearing before Circuit Court Judge Charles Webster.

Malone reportedly posted his bond of $50,000, and has been free since the hearing. His trial is set for May 18 in Coahoma County Circuit Court.

In November of 2008 Malone was indicted on five counts of arson stemming from fires occurring in Clarksdale.
