The Southeast Mississippi Air Ambulance District has filed a lawsuit seeking almost $130,000 from the Lamar County Board of Supervisors.
The lawsuit, filed in Lamar County Circuit Court on Friday, seeks $128,953 from the county for its dues for the rest of the fiscal year.
Lamar County pulled out of the 10-county air ambulance district in February because it was not satisfied with the service.
The county paid SEMAAD $88,333 for the first five months of the fiscal year.
