Singer-pianist Allen Toussaint and Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews are the subjects of the two posters that will be sold during this year’s New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

The posters are set to be unveiled Tuesday. Toussaint’s image will be on the festival’s official poster created by New Orleans artist James Michalopoulos. Andrews is the subject of the Congo Square poster designed by New Orleans-born artist Gilbert Fletcher.

The official festival poster has been in production since 1975, when it was introduced as a 5th anniversary fundraiser for the nonprofit New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Jazz Fest and the 10th anniversary of the festival’s Congo Square stage and poster.

Jazz Fest runs April 24-26 and April 30-May 3.
