A lawsuit filed against an Internet-based real estate listing company has been delayed by a federal judge.
The case stems from a 2007 complaint by residential real estate appraisers in Maryland, Oklahoma and Virginia.
They claimed Oxford-based FNC Inc. built a national database of information about properties using appraisers’ information, and now competes with them at their own expense with an Internet-based system.
A trial in U.S. District Court in Greenville had been scheduled for Wednesday. It was indefinitely delayed this past week by U.S. District Judge Glen Davidson. No new trial date was set.
