Entergy Mississippi says it has crews returning home after spending the past 15 days helping restore power to Arkansas residents hit by last month’s ice storm.

The utility said the crews were part of a team of more than 160 workers from Mississippi that included linemen, scouts, customer service personnel and support staff.

Entergy distribution operations director Rick Riley says more than 111,000 Arkansas residents lost power in the ice storm that hit late last month. The storm damaged more than 5,000 utility poles and 700 distribution transformers.
