Mississippi students will take the National Assessment of Educational Progress test. The test will be administered Jan. 26-March 6.
NAEP, also known as the Nation’s Report Card, is administered every other year and is the only national assessment that shows what students across the country know and can do in subjects like reading, mathematics and writing.
Of Mississippi’s 152 school districts, 118 districts have schools that will be included. Not all schools in a district will be tested and not all students in a participating school will be tested. Testing is not mandatory.
