The state auditor’s office says it has found no misuse of public resources at Mississippi State University’s Coastal Research and Extension Center in Biloxi.
A news release from the auditor’s office said the investigation began soon after the office received a complaint in October 2007.
State Auditor Stacey Pickering said Monday that the investigation has cleared all accused employees and the university.
The state auditor’s office investigates the potential abuse of public funds and usually turns over its findings to the district attorney’s office.
