Another city considers traffic cameras

Another Mississippi city is considering traffic cameras to catch motorists running stoplights.
Ocean Springs officials say the issue is safety, not money.
Red-light cameras enforce traffic laws by automatically photographing vehicles whose drivers run red lights.
City officials have had talks with ACS Transportation Solutions, a Dallas-based vendor for traffic cameras.
Officials say there are four to five intersections in the city where the cameras could be posted.
Several cities in Mississippi have installed or discussed traffic camera programs. Cities share revenue with the vendor.
