VETERANS PARADE — Picayune honored Veteran’s Day with a parade Saturday of the Picayune NJROTC, Pride of the Tide band and historic military vehicles. City and some county officials rode in the historic vehicles throwing candy, frisbees and other items. The Picayune Fire Department hoisted an American Flag above Goodyear Boulevard for the parade to pass under.
