Three adults and a child were injured in a two car collision Thursday on Miss. 603.

A story in the Sun Herald states the accident took place that night at about 8:05 when a 2003 Dodge SUV driven by 31 year-old Anthony Catalano Jr., of Picayune entered the wrong lane of traffic and smashed into a van. The van had two women and a female child inside.

Sandra Ladner, 50, of Kiln was driving the van southbound with her daughter and granddaughter, 30 year-old Laura Perniciaro and Perniciaro’s five year-old daughter Molly.

Molly Perniciaro was transported to University of South Alabama Medical Center, the other victims were taken to Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. USA Medical Center performed surgery on Ladner. All but the five year-old child and Catalano were restrained.

Laura Perniciaro and Catalano are reported to be in critical and serious condition respectively.
