Susan Longino Currie Cooper, 55, formerly of Gulfport and a long time resident of Carriere, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Carriere.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cooper.

Susan is survived by: her son, Edward Currie; and her daughters, Caroline Currie and Elizabeth Cooper. Other family include: R. Edward Longino, III; Dan (Linda) Tuttle Longino; Charline Julia Longino; Lewis (Denise) Vernon Longino; Nancy Gene Longino; and her beloved nephew and niece, Alan and Lauren Longino.

The family feels especially thankful to Susan’s friends: Cheryl Larsen, Kim Stasney and Kathy Krebs for their love and support this year as we lost Ken to cancer and Susan in this tragic accident.

Arrangements are incomplete, but the family requests that any memorials be made to the Kenneth Cooper Memorial Scholarship sponsored by the Stennis Space Center Rotary Club.

McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of the arrangements.
