This week’s national drought report shows abnormally dry conditions in parts of southeast Louisiana and Mississippi.

It’s an improvement in Louisiana from earlier this month, when the U.S. Drought Monitor showed abnormally dry conditions across south Louisiana.

It’s the first time since early October that such conditions have appeared in Mississippi. ———
