A five-day search for a Biloxi man has ended with the discovery of the body of Francis “Frank” Roberts in the woods near the Jeff Davis Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says Roberts died from a single stab wound to the back.

The body of the 78-year-old Roberts was found Monday. He had been missing since Thursday night.

Police have provided no other details of the investigation, which they is continuing.
