A 43-year-old Natchez man has been indicted by a grand jury on allegations he participated in a September 2007 murder.
Patrick Lewis Conner was booked into the Adams County Jail Sunday.
The grand jury indictment alleges that Conner he acted in concert with Mary Louise McQuarters in the Sept. 29, 2007, death of 52-year-old Pete Jackson.
Sheriff’s Investigator Jody Waldrop says Jackson was bludgeoned to death in his home.
Waldrop says McQuarters, who made the initial 911 call to report Jackson’s death, was charged with the murder the next day. She and Jackson had reportedly lived together for 13 years.
