The Pearl River Central Blue Devils (2-7, 2-4) fell in their final game of the 2008 season to the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-chaws (7-2, 3-2) in Bay St. Louis 42-0 on Friday night.

PRC head coach Jeremy Weir commented, “It has been a long season but the kids have really played hard. Everyone knows the situation from the Bay High game a few weeks ago. I am very proud of how the players responded and played hard throughout the rest of the season. We graduate a big number of seniors and this is the first group that has been with me the whole way. I will miss those guys. We will have some seasoned young guys stepping in as they have seen the field quite a bit these last few weeks.”

The Rocks scored quickly to start the game. It took Dylan Favre and company just two plays to find the endzone when he hooked up with Boomer Scarborough for a 43-yard scoring pass with 11:29 left in the opening quarter. Cameron Bosley’s PAT made the score 7-0.
