Four people charged in a prescription drug case have been back in federal court to face more charges.
Doctor Thomas Trieu, Doctor Victoria Van, pharmacist Nick Tran and office manager Richard Trieu pleaded not guilty Wednesday to dozens of new charges filed last week.
U.S. Magistrate Robert Walker accepted the pleas. He also postponed the court date from October 6 until February 2, 2009.
The defendants are accused of illegally dispensing large amounts of prescription narcotics through a doctor’s office and pharmacy in Biloxi. Federal authorities shut down the office and pharmacy in May.
All four are free on bond.
