Moss Point leaders approve budget despite concerns

Moss Point officials have narrowly approved a $15.2 million budget after concerns over the local school district’s request for an additional $600,000.

The request for more money comes at time when enrollment in the Moss Point School District has declined.

The budget was approved this week only after Mayor Xavier Bishop was forced to break a tie vote among the six board of aldermen members present.
