Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church for Judy Lynn Creel, 50, of Picayune, who passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 at her residence in Picayune.

Burial will be in the McNeese Cemetery in Sheridan, La., on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Bob Osbourn and the Rev. Kent Megeehee will officiate at the service.

A native of Big Spring, Texas, she was a Nurse and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her father, Barzie Ray Fletcher of San Angelo, Texas; her mother, Louise Bennett Fletcher of San Angelo; her husband, Walter Pomelow of Picayune; her children: Heather Mariah Shipman, and her husband Bryan, of Brady, Texas; Rachel Marie Self, and her husband Randy, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Rebecca Ann Pomelow, and her husband Aaron, of Carriere; and Cindy Diane Harrington, and her husband Jay, of Picayune; her step-daughter, Karla Pomelow of Picayune; and 13 grandchildren; her brother, Bennett Fletcher of Bethesda, Md.; her sister, Cheryl Spradling of Arlington, Texas; her mother-in-law, Shirley Pomelow of Picayune; her father-in-law, Carlton Pomelow of Picayune; her sister-in-law, Susan Howard of Picayune, and her nephew, Forest Howard.

Visitation was held Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
