The court documents state the investigation was initiated after receiving several complaints about suspected illegal narcotic activity at Jackson’s home. During the surveillance Jackson was seen leaving the residence and an officer stopped him for a traffic violation. As the Mississippi Highway Patrol trooper approached the car, he could smell what he suspected to be burning marijuana coming from the vehicle. Jackson was asked to step out of the vehicle and it was searched after receiving Jackson’s consent. The trooper found two suspected marijuana cigarettes, a bag full of a large amount of cash and three grams of marijuana in a plastic bag, the document states.

Agents with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration were called in. They interviewed Jackson, who denied he had made a stop at the house under surveillance, the document states. The trooper informed the agents that surveillance revealed Jackson had come from the home in question. Using the information the trooper provided and information from reliable sources, who said a drug distribution operation was ongoing at the home, a search warrant for the residence was secured.

The search of the home revealed documents believed to be involved in a suspected drug distribution operation from Texas, 19 kilograms of cocaine concealed in the attic, a semi-automatic pistol, an electronic bulk money counter and about two ounces of marijuana, the court document states.

The document alleges that Jackson is a major distributor of cocaine in Mississippi and that Acker, Jackson’s girlfriend, is directly involved in the transportation of the narcotic from Texas. Delacruz is alleged to be involved in the collection of money owed to the drug trafficking organization in Texas.

Picayune Police Chief Jim Luke said Jackson was a student in Picayune schools and records show that he has been charged in Picayune for felony possession of marijuana on Jan. 9, 2003, grand larceny on May 2, 2006 and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute on Jan. 9, 2003. Jackson filed a complaint against Detective Sgt. Charles Esque Jr. for harassment. Luke said that complaint was investigated and unfounded.
