The following businesses and organizations are known to be closed in response to the expected landfall of Hurricane Gustav.

Stennis Space Center closed on Friday and if conditions allow, is expected to reopen Wednesday.

Pearl River Community College classes will be canceled Tuesday in response to the storm. Those cancellations include the Poplarville and Hattiesburg campuses. If they are able to, the campus will reopen on Wednesday.

Local public schools expect to make an announcement about possible closures Sunday.
