A Gautier man is accused of beating his 68-year-old mother to death at her home, also in Gautier.

Police have a murder warrant for 51-year-old Rodney J. Lasseigne, who was last seen Thursday leaving his mother’s home in a 2008 Toyota Yaris.

Coroner Vicki Broadus says Juanita Gibson was killed by blunt force trauma, and may have been dead for several days before her body was found Monday.
