New County emergency sirens to be tested Wednesday
Warning sirens were recently installed in the City of Picayune and in school campuses of Pearl River County and Poplarville.
The installers of these warning sirens will be conducting a test on Wednesday, July 2. The activated sirens will be heard during a time period beginning on or around noon and ending on or around 1:00 P.M. The activation be heard for no more than 5 minutes. This will be a test only.
Public service announcements will identify future test periods and warn of any trouble.
