The Picayune Police Department’s summer camp for ages 7 to 9 was last week. Children participated in a number of activities. Friday, the children were treated to a martial arts demonstration by Taekwondo Plus Academy. Later, at the end of camp celebration at Jack Reed Park, the children ate hamburgers and hot dogs and played on inflatable water slides. The camp for ages 10 to 12 is June 23 to 27.
