Funeral services will be held at McDonald Funeral Home Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. for Dorothy Ruebin Frierson, 81, of Picayune, who passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 in New Orleans, La.

Burial will be Sunday, June 15, 2008, in New Palestine Cemetery in Picayune, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

A native of Picayune, she was a homemaker, and a member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Picayune.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert R. Dillard; her mother, Annie Rosie Jenkins; a son, Larry Frierson; and one sister, Lola Mae Kemp.

Survivors include: her husband, James H. Frierson of Picayune; two sons, Robert E. Frierson of Picayune, and Kenneth R. Frierson of Shreveport, La.; three sisters, Ola Rae Moree, Bonnie E. Dillard, and Myrtle R. Frierson, all of Picayune; a grandson, Kenneth R. Frierson Jr., a granddaughter, Rebecca D. Silas; three great-grandsons, Gary Silas Jr., Cody Silas, and Trey Frierson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15.
