Authorities say a Winston County man has drawn a 20-year federal prison term on charges of possession with intent to distribute large amounts of methamphetamine.
Maj. Mike Perkins of the state Narcotics Bureau said Kenneth Busby, 52, was the kingpin of a drug ring that allegedly distributed about 200 pounds of methamphetamine over an 18-month period in Neshoba and Winston counties. Authorities said the drugs involved were worth an estimated $2.2 million.
U.S. District Judge W. Allen Pepper in Greenville also sentenced Busby to four years of supervised release.
