An Ohio woman has been freed on $25,000 bond after pleading innocent to charges of causing a disturbance at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in January.
Kim Rochelle Watson of Toledo, Ohio, appeared this week before a federal magistrate in Gulfport. She pleaded innocent Wednesday to charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and several misdemeanor charges after the confrontation at the airport checkpoint.
She faces up to five years in prison if convicted. Her trial is set for June 16.
The woman’s husband, Eli Watson, and brother, Stephen Kemp, both from Toledo, were also arrested on misdemeanor charges stemming from the same incident.
