MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION — For about five years, Henleyfield Community Incorporated has held Memorial Day celebrations at the Henleyfield community center. This year the event sought to raise funds for a new pavilion. During the Saturday event, attendees honored veterans, had music, food and a water slide for the kids. Another fund raiser will be held during the second week of November. The goal is to raise about $30,000 for the building through a bake sale, plant sale and concession stand profits.
