Gwendolyn Mary Forestier, 76, passed away on April 11, 2008, at Canon Hospice in Gulfport. Gwen was a native of Metairie and a resident of Poplarville for the past 13 years.

Beloved daughter of the late Lucille Meynier Forestier and Daniel J. Forestier Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel J. Forestier, and Yvonne Nash Coleman.

She will be sadly missed by: her sister, Barbara Forestier Rodriguez; brother, Wayne L. Forestier; companion Margie Burch and cousin, Alan Smith.

Survived by: her nieces, Lisa Rodriguez Seoane, D’neil Forestier Fredella; and her nephews, Stephen Rodriguez, Daniel J. Forestier III; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, La., 70124, on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 1 p.m.

Visitation to start at 11 a.m.. The burial service will be at Lake Lawn Park.
