Hugo Huffman Stockstill, 68, of Carriere passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, January 21, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Carriere Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home, with Bro. Cedric Lumpkin officiating.

Hugo was the owner of a heavy equipment trucking company and a member of West Union Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Memory Lee Stockstill.

He is survived by: his son, Scott Stockstill of Picayune; daughter, Nicole Steddum of Carriere; and sister, Barbara Lynn Roach of Carriere.

Picayune Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
