Picayune still perfect; PRC hosting Hancock

Picayune’s Maroon Tide remained unbeaten and moved to 12-0 on the season beating Bay High 67-40 in Region 8-4A action at the Tigerdome on Tuesday.

Picayune, ranked third in the state, is also a perfect 4-0 in league play.

Chris Dees scored 22 points to pace Picayune in the winning effort, while Brandon Fortenberry chipped in 16 points.

The Maroon Tide travel to Alexandria, La., for a three day Christmas Tournament beginning today.

• The Lady Tuide fell to Bay High 63-46 on Tuesday despite getting a game high 21 points from Karly Moran.

Picayune is 8-6 overall and stands 1-2 in league play and returns to action next week in the annual Picayune Holiday Tournament.

PRC hosts Hancock
