Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Mildred E. Pascal Samson, 82, of Carriere, who passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 in Carriere.

Burial will be in the Biloxi National Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Father Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of Lockport, La., she was a secretary and a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Hartman and Ida Dufrene Hartman Tyler; her husband, Harry Samson, who passed away September 2007; and five siblings: Clarence Hartman, Leverdia Murray, Herman Hartman, Sr., Alance Hartman and Raymond Hartman.

Survivors include: one daughter, Peggy Pethal and her husband, Bob, of Alexandria, Va.; one son, Joseph R. Pascal, Jr., and his wife, Rhonda, of Carriere; one step-daughter, Barbara Samson Bass and her husband, Bobby, of Weathersford, Texas; four grandchildren: J.R. Pascal, III, and his wife, Briann; Ronnie Pascal, Donnie Pascal, and Robyn Pascal; one brother, Herbert Hartman of Theodore, Ala.; and one sister: Yvonne T. Ewald of Marrero, La.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.

McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of arrangements.
